Can someone please explain my cat's behavior?

yeah my cat kinda does the same thing she wants ne to pet her and she starts purring but i guess she gets annoyed or something and doesnt want me to pet her anymore.. i dont think you can stop it...its a cat thing lol like they have their own like ways when he does that just leave him alone or soemthing
