I need help with vet assistant school?

I am looking for what classes to take to be a vet assistant. I am not looking to take all the required math reading and writingclasses. I just want to know where and how to get a certificate for being an assistant for a vetranarian. What do I need to do? And does anyone know if or where a vet will let me watch what they do? Like a job shadow? I have tried to get help from clover park technical college, but they suck. I need any help I can get! Thank you!!!
